Edgeware Road

At Edgeware Road, Arcadia transformed a derelict former public park acquired from Marrickville Council into a purposeful commercial address on a prominent Newtown corner. The completed development comprises an 800-square-metre warehouse, including 300 square metres of mezzanine office accommodation. Arcadia occupied the building as its own headquarters before the property was sold in 2016. The project demonstrates a pragmatic approach to urban renewal: identifying overlooked land, resolving a useful new programme and creating a durable asset suited to its industrial context.
